We are no strangers to the benefits of Marine ingredients for the skin, extracted from the lap of sea beds! They are known to be an excellent fix for signs of ageing & pre-mature ageing, and anti-inflammatory in nature.
Seaweed is one of the most common skin care ingredients. It is an excellent source of Vitamin C, and a powerful humectant that draws moisture to skin cells. Algae extracts, though essentially made of various seaweeds, prove to be rich in bioactive compounds and provide a wider skincare experience – they brighten, sooth, boost skin collage & so forth.
The skin care brand, Rêpechage, draws from the richness of the brown seaweed called “Laminaria Digitata” & the “Ascophyllum Nodosum”, amongst others. Try our Rêpechage Ultimate Sculpting Ritual for a true Marine experience encompassing fresh American & European seaweed extract – resulting in a dramatic firming appearance.

There’s a common misconception that pre-lightening is just another word for bleaching. That belief comes from older, outdated techniques where strong ammonia-based bleach and high-volume developers were used without any protection, often leading to serious hair damage. But today, pre-lightening has evolved into a much more advanced, personalized, and safer process.
Modern pre-lightening no longer relies on aggressive formulas. Instead, it uses low-ammonia or even ammonia-free lighteners. These are often enriched with bond-building agents, oils, and conditioning ingredients designed to protect and strengthen hair during the process. Unlike the past, where one formula was used for all hair types, today’s pre-lightening is customized to suit individual hair needs and color goals.
Deciding what’s right for each individual hair type is where professional expertise makes a difference. A thorough consultation with a stylist includes checking for porosity, sensitivity, and elasticity. They also evaluate your natural color, previous dye history, and overall hair health. Based on these factors, they tailor the lightening process, choosing the right strength of developer, processing time, and protective treatments.
Pre-lightening is not the same as traditional bleaching.
It is safer, more refined, and hair-friendly with modern technology.
Designed to preserve hair health while preparing for color.
With expert care, there’s no need to fear lightening.
You can now achieve bold, vibrant colors without damage.
Embrace the transformation — healthy, colorful hair is completely possible today.
Why Do Underarms Look Dull?
Our underarms go through daily friction, shaving, and sprays loaded with alcohol — all without any real skincare. Over time, this can lead to darkening, bumps, and dryness.
But with just a few minutes a week, you can refresh and brighten your underarms — just like your face.
Step 1: Gentle Exfoliation
Skip harsh scrubs. Use chemical exfoliants like lactic acid or mandelic acid 1–2 times a week. They gently remove dead skin, smooth texture, and help reduce odour.
Opt for swipe-on pads or light serums — quick, clean, and effective.
After exfoliating, apply a serum with niacinamide (5%) to even out tone and calm redness. For dark spots, kojic acid works well — but use only one active ingredient at a time.
Underarm skin needs moisture too! Use a fragrance-free cream or serum with aloe vera or zinc. Apply at night to support skin repair.
Sprays with alcohol and fragrance can irritate and darken skin. Instead, choose a cream or roll-on deodorant with calming ingredients. They’re gentler and better for long-term skin health.
Wearing cotton and avoiding tight synthetic clothes helps reduce friction and lets your skin breathe — making all the difference.
